20 Ideas in 20 Days

I’m looking for my next adventure. Having been a founder/CEO, a hired COO/CFO, a lecturer in venture funding and entrepreneurship at a major research university and teaming to build and manage a university venture accelerator and mentoring program — it’s clearly been more of a career jungle gym than a ladder.

In trying to determine the next climb, I’m doing all the things you’re supposed to do when you’re looking — lots of coffee, lunch and after work drinks. And while the perfect fit has not emerged, my mind is working overtime connecting ideas from people I’ve been meeting and things I’ve been learning.

It turns out that when you’re not completely subsumed by an startup you have time to do things like take online courses. (I’ve been exploring Data Science and AI/Machine Learning.) Or you can do a deep dive into models for startup/corporate engagement. Or relaunch a blog interviewing successful women founders and CEOs so young women have more role models.

To organize my thoughts, I’m challenging myself to capture all this with 20 idea posts in 20 (business) days.

Feel free to follow me and let me know what you think in the comments. See you here tomorrow.
