It’s No Wonder Teen Girls Want To Be Sugar Babies When This Is How It’s Portrayed

But is it really all glam, fine dining and luxury travel?

Sugar babies have been around for centuries.

But lately, being one has become a highly sought-after lifestyle.

On Tik Tok alone, the tag #sugarbaby has been viewed 1.9 billion times. Other related tags — like #sugarbabytips and #sugarbabytiktok — are also raking in millions of views.

And a quick scroll through explains why it has become such a fascinating ‘occupation.’

You’re apparently constantly showered with extravagant gifts, travel around the world, go to fancy-looking restaurants, and get a hefty allowance for… well, just existing. And being hot, young and accommodating, of course.

It’s all very Lolita-esque if Lolita grew up listening to Lana Del Rey, had expensive taste, and a knack for extorting money from men.

But what’s the most disturbing about all this is that the comment sections under sugar babies’ videos bragging about using ‘gullible old men’ seem to be filled with young girls proclaiming it ‘iconic’ and asking how they can be one, too.

Right.
