Luke’s Lobster

Luke’s Lobster is a restaurant group with three Boston locations, known for its fast but fresh seafood. The menu options for rolls are not just limited to lobsters, but also crab, shrimp, and a combination option with a taste of all three rolls. Our recommendation? Grab yourself a traditional lobster roll with melted lemon butter and Luke’s special seasoning, with a side of poppy seed slaw and Cape Cod potato chips. It’ll feel like you’re sitting on the coast of Maine at your own desk! (Psst… when the weather gets cooler, don’t miss out on Luke’s clam chowder!)

Yankee Lobster Co.

Yankee Lobster is located right on Boston’s seaport coastline, stuffed in between The Blue Hills Bank Pavilion, and Harpoon Brewery. This makes it the perfect spot to swing by before a concert, after exploring the brewery, or if you just happen to find yourself in the seaport on a late-summer day. While the spot serves up a variety of different lobster offerings (lobster mac ‘n cheese, anyone?), they also offer a variety of lobster rolls, from traditional to fried. Get yourself a hot lobster roll with some crab cakes on the side and a Harpoon IPA to wash it all down. Eat it on the water for the perfect meal to wrap up the summer.

The Barking Crab

Ask any local, and they’ll tell you Boston’s premiere crab shack is The Barking Crab. The location may be known for its crab offerings, but they also serve up a wide variety of seafood, including lobster rolls. If you’ve never tried a lobster B.L.T. before, now is your chance. If you’re looking for the basics, the spot offers both a traditional lobster roll (mayo, celery, and lemon), and a naked lobster roll which is straight-up lobster and butter in a bun. If you have the chance to stop in, be sure to order one of their sea-themed cocktails, and get ready for a fun eating experience- this restaurant sits directly on the water!
