Calling all residents of Bitropolis!
Today, we’ve got a major content update for you, bringing a brand new activity to Bitizens.
You may have already heard about our new fishing game, but just in case you haven’t, here’s a little introduction:
When you moved to Bitropolis, you brought with you an old tube-TV. It’s been gathering dust for what seems like an eternity, and it’s not even compatible with the Bitropolis signal!
As such, Mayor Sway has taken it upon himself to send every Bitizen a special gift — this hot new VR headset. With it, you’ll be able to access a whole new world of digital experiences!
The first of these aforementioned experiences is the Bitizens Fishing Game. Within, players are presented with a simple yet endearing paysage, and given the chance for a little virtual R&R. To access it, simply click on your old TV in the corner of your Bitropolis Pad, and off you go!
Tied to this relaxing activity is a fully-featured competitive leaderboard system, complete with prizes of various kinds! Winners can get their hands on a portion of the proceeds made from bait sales, redistributed to players in the form of PLAT tokens. All players have 10 free bait to use every 24 hours, and can purchase more if they so wish through the game using ETH.
We’ve also got some really special and unique clothing item prizes featuring a brand new “Shark Investor” outfit front and center!
And that’s not all! From now until October 28th at 23:59 PST, all players who participate in the Bitizens Fishing Game experience will be gifted a special Halloween mask! All you have to do is catch at least one fish.
Mask distributions are random, so if you don’t get the one you were hoping for, hang on to it! You’ll eventually be able to trade or sell it to other players!
