BitGuild Gets a New Heavy-Hitter
Meet the latest member of the BitGuild core team: Roy van Kaathoven
BitGuild is proud to announce the latest high-profile member to join the team: Roy van Kaathoven.
Before joining BitGuild, Roy (a.k.a Rovak) was mostly known for his considerable contributions and involvement with the TRON community. He’s single-handedly developed TronScan.org and brought GoSeedit.io to life with the help of Sesameseed’s marketing team. He’s made several valuable additions to a multitude of open-source blockchain projects. Before taking his first steps into blockchain development, Roy was active as a product owner, technical manager, and full-stack engineer for a plethora of software products and technologies back in the Netherlands.
Roy has always had a passion for new and emerging technologies, discovery and development, and technology in general.

As BitGuild’s Chief Technology Officer, Roy is going to focus his talents on making BitGuild the de-facto destination for any blockchain and cryptocurrency activity — be it gaming, trading, or anything in between. This starts with the development of a multi-chain wallet that will, over time, see BitGuild integrate with all major blockchains (look forward to more info on this in the coming weeks). Following this, Roy will move onto other blockchain related projects with BitGuild, as well as lend his wide skillset and expertise to general BitGuild products and endeavors.
His ultimate goal, just like BitGuild’s, is to bring cryptocurrency and blockchain tech into the forefront of people’s minds. To do this, Roy and BitGuild are putting ease-of-use, accessibility, and convenience first, in an effort to cement this space and technology into the daily routine of our online lives.
