BitGuild Portal Alpha Goes LIVE!
We’re finally sending the first version of our portal into the wild.
We are thrilled to finally announce the release of the alpha version of the BitGuild blockchain gaming portal! Our team has been hard at work over the past two months building the initial infrastructure for what we hope to become the home for the blockchain gaming community.
The portal will go live today, May 11th, at 7:00 AM UTC and will feature the following functionality:
- Platform account and nickname system (utilizes MetaMask)
- Integration of current top blockchain game: Ether Online
- PLAT integration for Ether Online
- ETH to PLAT converter
- English, Chinese, French, Portuguese, and Japanese language support
- Portal-wide chat box
- ERC721 non-fungible token (NFT) inventory (currently supports Ether Online items)
- Item gifting (currently supports Ether Online items)
- And more coming soon…
Please take note again that this is an ALPHA version of our portal and there may still be a few pesky bugs. If you notice any issues, please e-mail us at support@bitguild.com or leave us a message on Discord.
We are also very excited to be working with the Ether Online development team to bring their game to the BitGuild portal. The standalone version of the game was released two weeks ago and has been rapidly climbing the Dappradar charts. Ether Online brings some unique new mechanics into the blockchain gaming space including loot boxes, item forging, and jackpot functionality. The game will also be launching PvP and boss fight mechanics in the not-so-distant future. Expect to see some events centered around Ether Online announced soon!
Over the coming weeks, we will be launching a number of other games on BitGuild.com as well as more player and developer functionalities. Now that we are online, expect to see rapid iterations on the site and frequent updates from our development team.
We’d like to thank you all for bearing with us as we worked to bring the BitGuild portal from concept to reality. Blockchain gaming is a brand new industry, and we expect many challenges to present themselves on the road ahead.
