Meet GuildWallet — The first crypto wallet to support multiple tokens
Gone are the days when you had to store tokens in different wallets
To this day, as powerful and intriguing as cryptocurrency might be, it’s still a pretty tall order for the average Joe to start using tokens in his daily life. There are too many setup steps, and usage is seemingly complex.
Our mission here at BitGuild is to drive blockchain adoption forward, making cryptocurrency a mainstay in people’s lives by breaking down barriers of entry. That’s why we’re proud to present our latest product: GuildWallet.
What is GuildWallet?
GuildWallet is a browser extension that manages your cryptocurrency wallets, and allows for direct token transactions for payments, games, and more. Most crypto users are already familiar with the likes of MetaMask or Treasure, and GuildWallet is in a similar class as these two tools, but with more long-term potential.
What does GuildWallet do?
GuildWallet will be a continuous project for us, with new features and functionality being added as we continue to work on it. In this first beta version, GuildWallet will include:
- Full TRON wallet support, including TRC20 (ANTE is included by default, and custom TRC20 tokens can be added manually)
- The ability to freeze TRX for energy and bandwidth
- Stored permissions to simplify repeated transactions (great for games!)
- The ability to set custom unique names for your TRON wallets
Why did we build GuildWallet?
While both MetaMask and Treasure are very powerful tools, they were both born to serve a single blockchain, forever limiting their use and forcing users to install multiple wallet extensions to manage their entire token portfolio.
We saw an opportunity to make things easier by creating a wallet extension that has the capability to interface with several blockchains, all in one neat package!
This initial beta version of GuildWallet will only support the TRON network, with plans to integrate other blockchains soon. We’ve decided to focus on TRON first, as it represents the fastest growing market, with TRON dApps gaining major attention and traction in the community — offering us the opportunity to get more people involved.
