Final stages of GuildChat development, tokens delisted on TronTrade, and PLAT burns

Welcome to another edition of our weekly State of the Guild post, where we give you an update of everything that’s going down at the BitGuild HQ. This week, after a week-long break, our team is back at work and ready to rock. Let’s dive right in.

GuildChat

This week, our team resumed its activities after a week-long holiday. We are now entering the final development stages of GuildChat as we prepare everything for the beta launch. In a final round of testing in the preview environment, we identified a few issues when loading pages, more specifically on Market and Browser, which will require a few days of development. With that in mind, we plan to have GuildChat 2.0 released within the next two weeks.

In the past few days, our team has focused on the following tasks:

  • Performance optimization (Front end & Back end)
  • Data Migration Development (Server Data & User Data)
  • Building Pre-release & Production Environment
  • First Round Testing under Preview Environment
  • 216 minor issues fixed

In the following days leading up to the launch, we will be focusing on fixing the loading issues aforementioned, as well as:

  • Production Environment Testing
  • Data Migration Testing
  • Fixing current bugs (Bank Module)
  • Optimizing the backend finance module

We are extremely excited to unveil GuildChat 2.0 soon, and we are counting on our community to help us test the beta version and provide us with feedback and suggestions. In exchange, we’ll be rewarding our members with TRX and PLAT, plus bragging rights for being an active part of GuildChat’s development!

TronTrade

This week has been quite busy for TronTrade. We’ve decided to delist three tokens from projects that are no longer active or bringing value to our community. The tokens Tronext, Dragon Castle, and Tron Egypt have become unavailable for trading since October 9.

This week we also sent out the rewards for the VCOIN event, and upgraded our Super Representative nodes to increase efficiency and trading speed.

PLAT

On October 8, we burned 50 million PLAT as part of our commitment to have PLAT serve as a measure of our products’ successes. The amount burned comes from a portion of revenue brought in by TronTrade as well as GuildChat referral earnings.

Those are all the updates we have for you this week, make sure to tune in next Friday for more BitGuild news and don’t forget to follow us on Telegram and Twitter to stay up to date on all our comings and goings!

BitGuild aims to bring blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption to the masses by providing compelling experiences that are easily accessible.
