GuildChat 2.0 public beta launch and TronTrade events
Welcome to the latest edition of State of the Guild, our weekly roundup of news from the BitGuild universe. This week we are very excited because the beta version of GuildChat 2.0 is nearly ready to launch! And we have some fun events planned on TronTrade to celebrate this achievement.
GuildChat
This was officially the last week of development for GuildChat 2.0, which means the public beta is almost here! Within the next few hours, our team will be submitting the build to both Apple and Google app stores. The expected review time is 3 to 5 days, meaning that GuildChat 2.0 will be available for download by the middle of next week. We are extremely excited to unveil this first beta version to our community. As we announced previously, in this phase we will be inviting all existing GuildChat users, our community on TronTrade and GuildWallet, as well as all BitGuild fans to the User Acceptance Test phase (UAT). During the UAT, users will be asked to provide feedback and report any bugs encountered — and in exchange, they’ll be rewarded in PLAT and TRX.
In this last week of development, bugs reported in the previous sprints and test builds have all been addressed and fixed. Following that, our team focused on a final test build for internal QA, as well as taking the last steps of the data migration process.
For the data migration to be completed, we put the current GuildChat on maintenance mode, and users were not able to access it from October 15 to 17. Additionally, the Coin Pouch features will not be accessible up until GuildChat 2.0 is released. Once that happens, users will be able to log in using their existing accounts, and all Coin Pouch balances as well as Chats and Contacts will be automatically migrated.

We are beyond excited to finally have GuildChat 2.0 out in just a few days, and eagerly await our community’s feedback on this project, which we’ve been working on for 6 months. We strongly believe this version addresses most of our community’s needs, and it’s a product that we will continuously work on so that it becomes the go-to application for any crypto user worldwide — regardless of their expertise level or preferred chain.
TronTrade
This week, the TronTrade team has been working alongside the GuildChat development and marketing teams to create some special events for the community in preparation for the launch of GuildChat 2.0. TronTrade users will soon be able to access the platform through the new GuildChat version to get some exclusive benefits. Stay tuned as we release details of new events in the upcoming weeks!
