GuildChat new version updates, TronTrade events, and our best holiday wishes!
It’s the last State of the Guild of 2019! As always, we give you a rundown of all BitGuild-related news from the past week. This time we have updates on GuildChat’s latest version and new, exciting TronTrade events. Let’s get to it!
GuildChat
In the past week, the GuildChat team has been hard at work on the latest update, which was submitted yesterday, December 19. We encountered some technical issues with the development of GIF features, which delayed the submission by a few days. The newly-submitted version, GuildChat 2.2, features the following updates:
Chat:
1. Send and receive GIFs
2. Search for messages in your own chat history.
3. Share your friends’ contact cards.
4. Group admins can mute members inside the group.
5. Select multiple messages to forward.
6. Media management includes images and videos inside a chat.
7. Quickly scroll to messages where you are mentioned.
Contacts:
1. Include a note when you add a contact or a join group.
2. Search for users with their UID.
Browser:
1. Float your browser to play dApps and chat at the same time.
Market:
1. Add coins to your watchlist in Market.
Language:
1. GuildChat now supports French, Spanish, and Korean.
Additionally, the team completed UI and product requirements for the next version, scheduled to be released in late January. What can you expect from this upcoming update? Well, here’s a sneak peek:
- Create multi-chain wallets with the same seeds
- Add BTC & BCH wallet and coin pouch
- Share coins from Market to Chat
- Share GuildChat, coin drops, URLs, and Market to other apps like Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, and WhatsApp
- UI Optimization (Default background, Menu style, animations)
We’ve also made some changes on the community management side GuildChat this week. We currently have many Official Groups with very low activity, and we want to change that by providing a place where active members can meet each other and discuss all crypto-related things. With that in mind, we will be phasing out all Official Groups by December 31st so we can have a fresh start in 2020. Active members who want to be in an Official Group with other Guildmates can join the newly-created GuildChat OG. On GuildChat OG, our GuildKeepers will be moderating and hosting daily discussions, events, and activities to keep everyone engaged. Think of the OG group as the place you want to go every day to see what’s up with crypto, get other members’ insights on news and predictions, talk about new projects, give feedback to BitGuild, and overall help us create the best space for the crypto community.
Starting on January 1st, Official Groups created on GuildChat 1.0 will no longer be available. So if you wish to connect with fellow members you met in one of the groups or save any of the media shared there, you have until December 31st to join GuildChat OG through this link.
TronTrade
There’s also quite a lot going on over at TronTrade. The BeatzCoin event ended on December 17 and it was a resounding success, with lots of traders taking the opportunity to stock up on coins from this awesome project in anticipation of their upcoming updates. Though that event is over, you can still take part in the 888 event until December 24.
Just this week, we also started the TRON UP trading competition, which will reward the Top 50 traders with a total of 30,000 TRX. Don’t wait until the last minute and start trading now to guarantee a very special Christmas and an auspicious end to 2019.
