State of the Guild #44
New GuildChat development schedule and GuildWallet launch event
Welcome to the latest edition of the State of the Guild! It’s our weekly compendium of news from the BitGuild universe. This week, we have some news on the development schedule for GuildChat, TronTrade token listings, and an exciting GuildWallet event. Let’s dig in.
GuildChat
The development schedule for GuildChat has been updated this week to reflect the effects of COVID-19, which cost us valuable man-hours over the last two months. In the new schedule, version 2.5 will be developed first and the chat system — which will allow for larger groups in the app — will be added in v3.0. The new design and UI won’t be implemented until v3.1. For more details, please see the roadmap below:
This past week, our team continued the simultaneous development of all upcoming versions, as well as the Chat System and the Desktop version:
- V2.5: Product review meeting and Technical review meeting were completed. The workload for v3.0 UI development is higher than expected, so tasks have been adjusted. Accordingly, v2.5 will include three main features: Votes in the group, Reports in the group, and Links in the group profile.
- Chat System: Backend engineers added the API unit test.
- Desktop v1.0: UI design of desktop was started.
Over the next couple of weeks, the work will be centered around final UI requirements for v2.5, with a test version scheduled to be available on March 30. The development of all UI requirements for Desktop and Chat systems will also be a priority.
TronTrade
Our team is currently working to add new tokens for listing, which we’ll announce over the next few days. This week we also completed the rewards distribution for the latest trading events, NOLE and Splinterlands.
GuildWallet
This week, we launched an event to celebrate the release of the new GuildWallet. For two weeks starting on March 16, users who download GuildWallet will have a chance to win crypto rewards of up to 3 ETH. To qualify, users must:
- Download the app
- Complete at least 3 transactions using GuildWallet (transfers, dApp purchases, etc.)
- Fill out the event form and include the following details: Twitter or GuildChat ID, wallet address, and a screenshot showing the wallet address and the transactions page with at least 3 transactions.
- Users need to submit their details before March 30.
