GuildChat & GuildWallet development news, Bitizens refunds, and new TronTrade tokens!

We are back with another State of the Guild, giving you a brief summary of what’s going on at BitGuild. This week we have an update on GuildChat’s development, GuildWallet’s new version, the Bitizens refund process, and new tokens on TronTrade. Let’s start!

GuildChat

This week we continued working on sprint #2 of the development schedule, which includes finishing up TRX/ETH wallets, Login/Signup/Me pages, Contacts List, and Group Chats. Most of the functions have been developed and code review has been completed.

This week we also completed the logical design, data, and interface definition for the Coin Pouch, finished the UI for Browser and Market features, and started developing an automated testing tool. This tool will work alongside the development process and speed up the approval each sprint.

Sprint #2 is due to end June 17, and if no issues are encountered, we’ll move on to sprint #3 of the development process.

GuildWallet

As mentioned last week, some users had issues when downloading the wallet extension as the default language was Chinese. We fixed this late last week and planned to push a new update right away.

However, another update that migrated the extension to a new architecture resulted in slower processing times. The team decided to address that this week and release an update that would fix all issues. The updated version was submitted to the Chrome Store yesterday, June 13, and will be available for download in the upcoming days.

TronTrade

Even with a slight decrease in volume in comparison to last month, TronTrade remains the #1 decentralized exchange on TRON, and one of the Top10 dApps across all blockchains.

This week we added two new tokens, TronUP and Tronext. These projects have had a really good reception from the community and are developing platforms that we are excited to see come to fruition. Tronext is available as of June 13, and TronUP will be added to our platform on June 14.

Bitizens

As announced yesterday, BitGuild has decided to put the development of Bitizens on indefinite hold.

Starting June 17, we will be refunding all Bitizens items bought during the Initial Game Offering — both on Ethereum and TRON — to the original wallet addresses used to purchase them. This process will take up to 5 days, and everything will be handled by our team, without any need for users to go through a refunding process. Players do not need to send back the non-fungible Bitizens items.

We thank all players and PLAT holders who supported Bitizens since the beginning, as none of our success would have been possible without you. We would also like to assure you that, while this is a small step back in development, our vision for the game is very much the same: to bring you the best gaming experience on the blockchain.

That’s all the news we have for you today, but don’t forget to check back in next week to catch up on all things BitGuild. And follow us on Twitter for real-time updates!

BitGuild aims to bring blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption to the masses by providing compelling experiences that are easily accessible. Between GuildChat, our crypto social app, GuildWallet, the most user-friendly browser extension wallet, and TronTrade, our decentralized exchange, we’re firing on all cylinders to usher in a new age, changing the way people interact with their digital goods.
