More GuildChat & GuildWallet development updates, a new project on TronTrade, and big wins at a charity poker tournament

Hi, GuildMates! We are back with our weekly State of the Guild, a brief summary of all the things BitGuild has been up to in the last week. In today’s post, we will dive into the development updates for GuildChat and GuildWallet, new tokens on TronTrade, our CEO Jared Psigoda’s amazing performance at the Binance Charity Poker Cup, and Bitizens’ refund process.

GuildChat

Sprint #2 of GuildChat’s new version development has now been completed. Below is a quick breakdown of the project’s status:

  • Login, Signup & Me have been completed and are undergoing testing;
  • TRX and ETH Wallets have been completed and are undergoing testing;
  • Group Chats, Join Group, & Contacts have been completed and are awaiting testing;
  • The API for backend testing (which will speed the Q&A process) has been completed;
  • Coin Pouch & Bank Component (refunds/withdrawals) designs have been completed and engineers will start deploying them in the next sprint.

In Sprint #3, the team will focus on:

  • Coin Pouch & Bank Component development;
  • Coin Pouch & Transfer in Private Chats development;
  • Browser & Market development;
  • Starting development of our own chat servers, which will allow us to have larger groups and more stability.

GuildWallet

As we informed you last week, a new version of GuildWallet was submitted to the Chrome Store. The update addressed issues of language selection and transaction speed. Early this week, however, we received a notification from Google that the extension needed to update the Privacy Policy to mirror the changes in the product. We have done that immediately, but this requires a new update in the store. To speed things along, we canceled the previous submission and uploaded a new one on June 20.

You can expect to have GuildWallet 2.1.0 available for download within the next few days.

TronTrade

We continue our mission to provide the best decentralized exchange on the Tron network with TronTrade, and that includes adding projects that further advance crypto adoption and introduce it to more people.

This week, we are listing Blaze Economy, a gaming dApp that delivers fun and engaging content to its users through a set of mechanisms that appeal to all kinds of crypto gamers. The token will be available for trading on June 21, and on June 26, we will host an AMA (Ask Me Anything) with the Blaze Economy team on our Official Telegram. Stay tuned on our Twitter and Telegram for the question submission form, which will be available in the upcoming days.

Bitizens

As announced last week, BitGuild decided to put Bitizens on indefinite hold, and focus on our remaining products that appeal to a larger audience and align with our mission to drive the adoption of blockchain and crypto forward. This week, we finalized the refund process to all early investors of the pre-sale.

The refund was done in the same currency in which it was purchased, in its original amount. If you have not received your refund yet, please message us at support@bitguild.com, mentioning the item that was purchased and the wallet address used for the transaction.

Miscellaneous

On June 14, our CEO Jared Psigoda was one of the nine guests at the Binance Charity Poker Cup. The event brought together some of the most high-profile individuals in the crypto space, such as Binance CEO Chanpeng Zhao (CZ), TRON founder Justin Sun, Litecoin founder Charlie Lee, professional gamer Lim Yo-hwan (Slayers Boxer), and DappReview CEO Vincent Niu.

The event was a live poker tournament using TronBET’s platform, the #1 dApp across all blockchains, with the goal of raising funds for the Binance Charity Foundation and spreading blockchain awareness. The game was a huge success and was covered by several media outlets and Youtube channels.

In total, the poker event raised over 4.9 million TRX, as well as 10.86 LTC and 21.32 BNB. We at BitGuild contributed with 600,000 TRX as a donation plus 1 million TRX as the prize that Jared Psigoda won for taking first place in the tournament. A huge thanks to the TronBET team for putting the event together, and congratulations to Jared for snatching that win and putting BitGuild on the spotlight!

You’re now up to speed on all the happenings of this eventful week. Come back next week for a new State of the Guild, and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter!

BitGuild aims to bring blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption to the masses by providing compelling experiences that are easily accessible.
