Entry 2 — Resistance
The first landing took place 5 days after the Gorgonians found Earth. From Africa, they quickly spread around the world. None of the countries on Earth have enough military power to withstand Ahrin’s ferocious and powerful Gorgon army. With advanced Noxidian-powered weapons, they didn’t spare any living species .
The remaining nations of the world had to make a life-and-death choice: either join forces to hold on to hope for humanity, or confront each other and be murdered. A new military alliance is established with one single goal: to defeat the Gorgons and their intention to destroy the Earth.
Not only joining forces on the battlefields, but this alliance also has a science committee that is a collection of the most outstanding scientists, urgently combining research into new weapons to supply our troops
Kaiser, the most powerful general at every major diplomatic and military event on Earth in the last 30 years, was chosen to become the leader of this military alliance. He prevented a nuclear war after defeating a terrorist group that possessed nuclear warheads and intended to attack Russia 15 years ago.
Raymond, Kaiser’s younger brother, a brilliant energy scientist and roboticist, is the head of the alliance’s science committee. Raymond created Droid, the first generation of robots with consciousness and emotions, during his years as a professor. While robots and Droids have been extremely helpful to humans, even gradually replacing humans in manual jobs, they were not born to be soldiers and cannot help humanity much in this situation. Raymond’s next mission is to create a war machine that can match the Gorgon armies.
The war steadily escalated, but human military development was not enough to resist the destruction of the Gorgon. Human troops are constantly defeated on all battlefields, the military alliance cannot stop the Gorgons, whose advantages in physical strength and weaponry outweigh humans tremendously.
While unable to destroy humanity within 20 days as promised to Rendus earlier, Ahrin also seems to have had no significant difficulty since setting foot on Earth. A quarter of the human population and landmass had vanished, and the remnants of the military alliance had been herded into the high mountains of Northern Europe, awaiting a breakthrough in weapons technology that could help them flip the odds before the Gorgons found this place and destroyed the human race.
