Social Services Club Gets new EB Panel!

Since 1994 North South University Social Service Club has continuously served the underprivileged people of the society. And recently NSU Social Service club got their new Executive Body Panel for the year 2020–21. This year Mr. Ahamed Tahmid Zaman has been elected as the president of the club and Mr. Md. Rabiul Islam has been elected as the General Secretary. Other executive bodies who are elected include Md. Mahmudur Rahman as the Treasurer, Mr. Ridwanul Islam as the Head of Operations, Mr. Md. Mahin Rahman Saquif as the Head of External Affairs and Mahdi Hasan Khan as the Head of Communications.

NSU MBA Club had a brand new succession with a new Executive Body Panel!

Congratulations to the new Executive Body Panel of NSU MBA Club for the fiscal year 2020–2021.
This time the panel consists of MD Asaduzzaman as the President, Farita Binte Hassan as the General Secretary, MD. Dewan Ishan Nahar as the Treasurer, Minhaz-Ul Mobin Mahin as the Joint Secretary, MD. Asif Arafat Rahman as the Vice President of Internal Affairs and Syed Tanvirul Hasan as the Vice President of External Affairs.
We wish them the best of luck for their tenure. They would surely be leading the club to unprecedented success!
MIBC to host one of the largest online digital marketing competitions ever, MarXcellence!

Marketing and International Business Club of North South University, which started its journey on July 19th, 2019, is going to organize one of the biggest online digital marketing competitions in the nation. The club is operating as the wing of the Department of Marketing and International Business at North South University in student and clubbing activities. MarXcellence is an Inter-University Digital Marketing Competition which aims to give its participants a real-life experience of three important aspects of Marketing, which are — promotion, sales, and branding. The competition will have 3 rounds along with two workshops. There will be two in-depth workshops for the second and final round, to further guide the participants. Furthermore, a BIG SURPRISE awaits for the participants of the final round! To register for the event, participants have to form teams of 4 members from same university. The registration for the event has already started from the 20th and will continue till 28th of December.
So, wait no more, form a team of four, and set forth the X factor in you!
NSU APC Arranged Photography Exhibition

North South University Art & Photography Club recent organized their flagship event, International Inter University Photography Exhibition — IIUPE 2020. IIUPE has a long history and it goes back to. This time NSU APC celebrated the 12th year of International Inter University Photography Exhibition -IIUPE . It is the biggest photography platform in South-East Asia organized by any student body for amateur photographers. The event was judged by Mohammad Rakibul Hasan who is documentary photographer, photojournalist, filmmaker and visual artist from Bangladesh; Alina Kisina who is a photographer, artist, curator from United Kingdom and Mahmud Hossain Opu who is Bangladeshi photojournalist at Al Jazeera. The curators of IIUPE 2020 were Mahmudur Rahman Rihan, Rihan M Rahman.
International Inter University Photography Exhibition — IIUPE 2020 got over 6,768 photographs and 31 photo stories. International Inter University Photography Exhibition -IIUPE 2021 IIUPE 2020 can now be viewed virtually, due to the world wide pandemic. The exhibition can be viewed in a guided tour, that will show the viewer all the photographs separately and in a free roam, which will allow you to experience how the exhibition was curated. Visit their virtual exhibition and be a part of this glorious showcase of talents!
NSU YES! To Starts The Year with New Executive Board!

NSU Young Entrepreneur’s Society (YES!) is not only the first students’ club of North South University, but it is also the birthplace of many successful leaders of the country. The club recently elected its new executive board for the fiscal year 2020–2021 in an annual general meeting held in Gulshan. The new executive body of NSU YES! include the President, Mr. Abu Taher Mustafa Sameer; the General Secretary, Mr. Md. Shihabuzzaman; the Vice President of Marketing and International Communications, Md. Arshadul Islam Chowdhury, the Vice President of Public Relations, Maksudur Rahman; the Vice President of Corporate Communications, Mohammed Tasnim Sifat Khan; the Vice President of Internal Affairs, Mohammed Sadman Sakib; Joint Secretary of Operations, Fahad Masum Joy and Treasurer Chowdhury Fariha Tasnim. All of the new members of the new executive are incredibly talented in their own ways and are very worthy of the positions they hold. These brilliant minds started the year with the aim to reach the sky, and with the quote, ‘The best is yet to come’.

NSU Finanace Club Orgainsed Market Research Challenge 1.0

North South University Finance Club recently arranged Build Bangladesh presents International Market Research Challenge 1.0 in association with Torun Digital and Youth Opportunities. The grand finale of this event was held on 29th of December. The grand finale was judged by Mr. Md. Sakib Chowdhury, CFA and Deputy Head of Research of UCB Capital Management Ltd; and Mr. Erad Kawsar the Country Director of ygap Bangladesh. After going through two challenging rounds of crucial thinking, 10 finalists managed to get their research to the final. Mr. Shahik Al Faroque Chowdhury and Mr. Md. Nazim Uddin Biplob from North South University secured the Champion, First-Runners up positions respectively whilst Ms. Nuzabah Azim of IBA, Dhaka University secured the Second-Runners up position. NSU Talks congratulates all the winner of MRC 1.0.
