NSU Human Resource Club organises their Fall’20 Recruitment

North South University Human Resources Club (“NSU HR CLUB”) is a co-curricular club under the Department of Management for the undergraduate students of North South University. The club was established in 2014 with the tagline of ‘House of future leaders’. The core objective of the club is to develop and groom students with HR-related topics on a professional scale and to support the educational process of young professionals in accordance with the current employment needs.
NSU HRC plays a significant role in establishing a network between the corporate workplace and the students. The club, since its inception, has been organizing events to facilitate the journey of the students towards the corporate world which includes its signature event “HR CALIBRATION”, “HR Speaks Out”, “NSU Accreditation Seminar”, “Corporate Archer — How Do They Do It”, etc. The club also initiates several Member Development Programs, seminars, and intra-club competitions to keep its members connected with the corporate world. “Epitome” is such an intra club case-solving competition that has been organized for the development of the members of the club.
Apart from these, another important event launched by the club is its recruitment program. The recruitment programs are arranged with the aim to welcome potential enthusiastic new members in the organization, help them unleash their veiled aptitude, and groom them to grow into influential corporate leaders and ace in professional life.
This semester, despite the setback of the ongoing pandemic, NSU HR CLUB organized the recruitment program for offering the awaiting young HR and corporate enthusiasts an opportunity to join their center of future leaders. After all, the whole world has adapted to the pandemic and is forwarding without slowing its pace; therefore they attuned with the transformation as well.
Considering the new normal state, “Recruitment Fall 2020: Ignite your inscrutable aptitudes” was held completely online. It was a magnificent new beginning of the HR enthusiasts of NSU! We wish all the new recruits the best of luck for their upcoming journey!
NSU Sangskritik Shangathan is recruiting new members!

NSUSS is one of the leading clubs of NSU. They are always relevant in different cultural programmes that are held in NSU with members filled with talent and surprises. This year, due to the pandemic, the recruitment of NSUSS will be fully online. The process will require participants to fill up a google form and then sit for an interview. We hope the recruitment of NSUSS goes well, which will start from the 1st of January! We wish the best of luck for the participants who will be chosen to be a part of this admirable legacy!
NSU HR Club organizes a wonderful webinar on Empowering women through Entrepreneurship

Women Will is a global Google brand & Reputation Initiative under the Google Business Group — Sonargaon community and one of the pillars under Grow with Google that is focused on creating economic opportunity for women everywhere so that they can grow and succeed. Womenwill and GBG have played important roles in setting clear objectives, ensuring continued visibility of Google’s commitment to narrow that opportunity gap and empower people to harness the power of technology for growth and innovation.
Entrepreneurship is a very effective gateway for the empowerment of women in every possible way. It also gives them a freedom to make their own decisions. However, it is unfortunate that 85% of such entrepreneurs face many hurdles in their path due to not having the required skill-set.
With the target to bring the prospects and challenges of women entrepreneurship to light and to motivate them for implementing their innovative ideas effectively, NSU HR CLUB of North South University, in collaboration with Women Will is arranged a webinar, “Empowering Women Through Entrepreneurship” on December 31, 2020 at 6:00PM.
The webinar had Sabira Mehrin Saba, the founder of Wander Woman, and Rubaiya Nadia Huda, Lead of Womenwill at Google Business Group- Sonargaon and also a faculty member of the Department of Accounting and Finance of North South University, as the honorable speakers.
Team Undisputed from NSU became one of the prestigious finalists in The Battle Of Minds 2020

Team Undisputed, representing North South University (NSU), were determined to make their undisputed mark in the Finale of Battle of Minds 2020. The team consisted of MD. Shihabuzzaman, who was the creative connoisseur, Rafeed Chowdhury as the marketing mettle and Sakib Khondoker as the Ideation Inceptor.
Their incredible team chemistry truly set them apart in Battle of Minds 2020. In the finals, Team Undisputed took their ideas to execution, with one single promise in mind, revolutionizing the meaning of sustainability, with an undisputed impact for a better world and a better tomorrow.
We are incredibly proud of a team from NSU for showing their dominance in such a large scale competition out there. We hope to see more teams like Team Undisputed in the future.
NSUAPC is having their first online recruitment!

North South University Art & Photography Club (NSUAPC) is where amateurs amplify their enthusiasm and explore their creative mind. Due to the pandemic, NSUAPC couldn’t supervise the recruitment process for the previous semesters, but now they are welcoming new faces with all gratitude.
The recruitment process started on the 5th January 2021 and will continue till the 12th of January 2021.
We hope and wish the best of luck to the applicants for the 3–5 minutes interview that will be undertaken by NSUAPC to recruit members. May the best enthusiasts thrive!
