In The Darkness

In the darkness

gently dreaming,

of a life that

has no meaning.

Cause the life that

I was dreaming,

wasn’t mine.

Though in the light

of coming day.

The dreams of you

they go away,

leaving nothing left

for me to find.

I pray until

the stars alight.

When you come

to make it right,

and hold me

once again.

For in the darkness

you are mine,

and only then.
