So today let’s talk about spec mining Meowcoin, now you may have learned about Meowcoin several weeks or maybe even a month or two back as it was kind of this little running joke amongst content creators and GPU miners. However, now jumping ahead in the beginning of October Meowcoin not only has some legitimacy behind it, but some profitability behind it as well.
What is Meowcoin?
Meowcoin is a platform based on the KaWPOW algorithm that intends to integrate blockchain technology in the animal sector, giving small-scale miners a lucrative blockchain to dedicate their hashrates. A portion of Meowcoin’s block reward is given to animal shelters. Hats off to them!

If the first thing that comes up on your search is meowcoins.com, you my friend are in the wrong place, you can buy the coins directly from this website which isn’t what Meowcoin was designed for. Just wanted to give you guys the quick heads!
The actual website is mewccrypto.com so please make sure you guys get over to the correct website, because the other one is definitely not the right meow coin.
Their website makes it east for people to see what exactly Meowcoin does, like algorithm KaWpow, good block time, rewards, supply, donate time, mining percentage network and etc. Not to mention a mountain of donations, as you can see over $4000 USD (2022.10.15) donated!
Meowcoin’s Donation is very transparent, you can see some of the longevity of their current and past donations to projects they have done with different groups. They also provided the transaction ID of the organization, so anyone can check if their claims are legit or not.

Risk
Meowcoin is a spec mining coin, so we must talk about the risk of spec mining it, personally I am all for HODdling them to see in the next Bull Run and if it happens to take off, I am happy to sell them off for a decent profit. However, if the project disappeared, I’ll be okay with it as well.It would be a shame but it’s not like I was spending a fortune mining it.
Taking a look the price of Meowcoin right now you can see that it is down quite a bit from its ATH, but the Meowcoin community is pretty supportive and roadmap looks really promising!
