Digital gardens have become a popular concept in recent years, providing a unique and dynamic way to organize and reflect on information. This new approach to knowledge management offers a personal and creative outlet for individuals, while also providing a valuable resource for future reference.

But what exactly is a digital garden, and how does it differ from traditional forms of information organization? That’s what I will try to explain in this article.

What is a Digital Garden?

A digital garden is a personal space where individuals can grow and organize their thoughts, ideas, and knowledge. Unlike traditional websites or blogs, which are often organized by topic or date, a digital garden is more flexible and allows for the spontaneous growth and evolution of ideas.

The concept of a digital garden is rooted in the idea of a permaculture garden, where the focus is on creating a sustainable, self-sufficient ecosystem, rather than a predetermined design or structure.
