Costco Cup Week 7 Recap
In the seventh week of the Costco Cup, there was more calculating and auditing of scorecards than any other week so far. The format required each team of four to count the best net score 3 times, second score twice, and third score once. This required teams to take advantage of their stroke holes, but the format allowed players to be aggressive in going after birdies by mitigating the impact of bogeys.
The overall and back nine winners for the week were Bruce MacPhee, Paul Sauve, Dan Kelly, and Gary Duck. The front nine winners were Dave Resnick, Rob Hill, Austin Evans, and Chris Vickers. The team in second place overall was the threesome of Tim Browne, Brett Montsion, and Ed Pinsent.
