  1. Kansas City (2–0)

Kansas City toppled the defending champs in Foxborough and followed it up by taking down a scrappy Eagles team at home to avoid a letdown. If Kareem Hunt can continue to ball out, they’re looking scary good.

2. Atlanta (2–0)

The Super Bowl Hangover lasted exactly one week, and it didn’t even cost them a loss. Atlanta is firing on all cylinders, and they appear to still be the class of the NFC despite the loss of All-World play caller Kyle Shanahan. Vic Beasley’s injury could turn into a problem down the line if other pass rushers aren’t able to generate pressure.

3.Oakland (2–0)

BEAST MODE! Never change Marshawn. The rest of the team looks pretty good as well, with high end playmakers in all three phases of the game. David Carr will get some serious MVP talk all season.

4. Pittsburgh (2–0)

Even though the Steelers have yet to really get things going at full strength on offence, you have to believe it’s coming. Despite his numbers against a stout Vikings run defence, Le’Veon Bell looked to be closing in on his top form last week. I really like the look of that defense too, now that they’ve added Joe Haden to their back end.

5.Denver (2–0)

Trevor Siemian is the surprise of the season so far. He’s shown tons of zip on his throws, and he’s making plays as opposed to trying to avoid mistakes. If he can keep playing at this level, this team will be tough to beat. The No Fly Zone can help keep any game close, and Von Miller is going to help the defence steal some games as the season goes on.

6. New England (1–1: loss to KC)

As hard as it is to believe, they aren’t even in first place in their division.

It’s easy to say that New England is going to get it together, but injuries are a huge concern among their pass catchers, and they look shaky on defensewithout Dont’a Hightower.

7. Detroit (2–0)

Matt Stafford has more than lived up to the pressure after the massive extension in the offseason. He’s finally combining good decision making with his all world arm talent. Don’t look now, but it also seems they’re learning how to run the ball. Look for Ameer Abdullah to break their streak of games without a 100+yard rusher

8. Baltimore (2–0)

Yes, they beat the Browns and Bengals, but they’ve had to adjust on both sides of the ball thanks to injuries and some underperforming pass catchers. They still can’t run the ball, but their defense looks downright nasty. Terrell Suggs continues to put a stiff-arm in the chest of Father Time, and is leading a squad that threatens to lead the league in total defence.

Just missed the cut:

Green Bay- They need to get healthy.

Seattle — They need an offensive line.
