The Denver Nuggets have an attendance problem, and they’re trying to do everything they can to get people in the seats.

Out of the 30 teams in the NBA, the Nuggets currently sit at 29th when it comes to attendance. Why is this? It comes to down to a combination of multiple things but the simplest answer is that the product on the court just isn’t very good yet.

This poses a difficult challenge for the Nuggets’ marketing team. It’s easy to fill up an arena when the product on the court is good, but you really have to dig deep into your bag of tricks when the product isn’t very good. That’s exactly what the Nuggets are doing right now.

Like any company, the Nuggets put together a holiday pack as the holidays approach. Instead of just giving their fans a smoking deal on a select number of tickets to a number of games that might be of interest to basketball fans, they are throwing in a Nuggets scarf to hopefully help persuade potential customers.

It may not seem like the best way to accomplish the task, but the Nuggets need to try anything they can.
