JULY 23, 2021 — Our Lady of Peace School received OLPSian-Paulinians to another year of online learning through an orientation via Microsoft Teams and Youtube. Continuing last year’s curriculum, OLPS at HOME (Holistic-Online-Modified-Education), the school aimed to ensure the safety of students by pursuing digital means.

Grade School Student Activities’ Head and Homeroom OIC Ms. Gina Villon formally opened the program with her remarks, emphasizing the institution’s capability of holistically honing students.

Ms. Villon, who has been with OLPS for two decades, also exclaimed about how grateful OLPS is for having them aboard, “We are so happy. You made the right decision to join us.”

Different departments have also sent speakers to discuss their involvements with student welfare: Bro. Sannie Pedellome for the content of non-academic formation programs, Mr. Harold Garovillas for the inner workings of the guidance center, Ms. Susan Macabangon, PhD, for the curricular activities of the students, and Dr. Grace Pastor, PhD for the various homeroom programs.

Online learning platforms for each grade level were also presented. Same with last year, Seesaw will be used for preschool and grades 1 and 2. Grades 3 to 10 will be using Google Classroom while senior high school students are set to use Microsoft Teams.
