Neutrality of Google searches can be found all through out the web. The lack of support fro searches that are bias, racist, sexist, and/or homophobic doesn’t help Google in the hot water its in due to it. When I searched “Black Hobbies” there was a link on the first page to a Topix page on for discussion. The question, which could be serious for some odd reason; but in my eyes is ignorant is “ Do Black people have hobbies?”. When i opened this there were serious answers and then racist ignorant comments. (www.topix.com › African-American) I’m not sure why this is on the first page of “ Black Hobbies” but this is a great example of the neutrality of Google Results.

Before reading the article, I wasn’t very aware of the amount of neutrality on the internet. I feel like it almost seems natural in the World, because most people don’t mention it; but that doesn’t take away the fact that it’s living still on the Web. I feel like this could have an impact on the community or transform an individual’s mind into thinking it’s okay to think the same way, such as being racist or sexist. It could definitely have a negative impact on the community. Since, Google is a super-power for Web searching they could do a better job filtering the neutrality found on the Web.
