Artist Statement: I think my process begins by capturing an image of my reality, a moment in time that somehow seems surrealistic, then it transfuses to the rhythm of words, and through describing them I create stories. I grew up to be a musician even though I can’t play at all… but somehow the rhythm and balance of sounds was stuck in my head, that is why I find poetry to be the perfect fit to start and realize clear evocative images… and I feel that the use of prose and verse enhances story telling. Somehow, it makes me feel that I am always in a dream, or reading a dream, or feeling a dream. It becomes my own view upon that moment of reality that seemed surreal.
