Artist statement: This work leans a little further into the speculative/surreal/experimental world, in which the speaker is imagining herself as Scylla and and Sam Sax and Lil’ Kim, and inviting the reader to come, too.

She’s a graduate of Amherst College and New York University’s Master of Fine Arts in Poetry and a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Adelphi University. Her chapbook, Misprison, was selected for the 2017 Girls Like Us Prize by Aracelis Girmay, and is forthcoming from Rabbit Catastrophe Press (Lexington, Kentucky) in 2018.
