Good Memories And Mental Health
Good memories can transform our mood in an instant and holding on to those memories can improve your mental health.
I was going through my photo album which contained all those pictures from my childhood. Looking at each picture I found myself giving life to those memories all over again. I started living as a child again.
It was as if I had not a worry in the world. I was immersed in those pictures. I was reliving all those memories. What’s more interesting is that I was so happy and it lasted for hours. It made me think about the impact it can have on improving our mental health.
Why not make it a habit to pick one good memory each day and live with it. It puts us in a happy state and it also improves our self esteem. You just cannot think bad about yourself when you focus on those memories. It’s a habit we can all cultivate.
