Taking the leap from basic asana practices in order to gain benefits to your health to spiritual practice is sometimes confusing. And I wanted to explain this to you. The Technique of Kriya Yoga

Kriya Yoga has a long history of meditation and has been integrated into the spiritual pathway. Techniques work directly with spiritual energy in our spines. The entire yoga method works using these energies most of the time indirectly.

Yoga postures help to open the spine channels and rebalance the spine energy. Yoga breath exercises are a way of boosting your energy. Kriya’s techniques are direct and efficient. The technique teaches practitioners to control life forces through mental drawing them into and around the spine in conscious awareness.

Kriya yoga has twice been mentioned in the ancient yoga texts by Patanjali the greatest yoga teacher. Aum represents the creative word, the sound of the vibratory machinery, a manifestation of the divinity of existence and a. Even yogis can soon hear amazing sounds like Aum. The blissful spiritual encouragement makes him believe in the communion of the supernal realm and the supernal world. Patanjali refers to the Kriya technique, or the control of the life force twice: “Liberation can be achieved by pranayama technique”.

What is the purpose of Kriya Yoga?

Kriya yoga seeks spiritual advancement. Kriya Yoga uses breathing techniques and breathing exercises to increase spiritual awareness. Kundalini Yoga has been developed for the purpose of purifying bodies and minds to attain a state of spiritual absorption.

What does Kriya mean?

Kriy (Sanskrit ‘acts, deeds or efforts’) is the simplest form of yoga aimed at the achievement of certain goals. In their 2.2 books, Patanjali yoga sutras define kriyas in three categories: skepticism, study, and devotion. This yoga is known as kriya yoga.

What does Kriya Yoga involve?

It is composed in several levels of pranayama, chant and meditation using techniques designed for rapid spiritual development engendering a profound state of calm and God-communion.
