Take a beat, then exhale.
Miles have been spent in search of a sign.
Weaving wonder into the landscape on awkward footing, demanding an answer as to “why”.
Maybe because our future is given a fighting chance when life cracks us open.
Humbling ourselves to ask for help would be more courageous than powering through it alone.
It is time to give up the badge of honor awarded for carrying the weight of the world.
The prize for letting go is the gift of certainty that we were never alone.
However dim, a beacon has been lit within us all along.
The divine has been patiently waiting to be called upon with a simple prayer, “Help me to lift what’s heavy, and show me how to leave it behind.”
