Years of deeply connecting with life experiences, both negatively and positively have for sure taught us all lessons that are worth writing a book about. One of them in my case was that I had to let me be, let me grow, and then let me outgrow. It was hard to accept that we humans change, and so is everybody around us.

But now years after, I know in my bones that It’s okay to no longer identify as the old person you were, no longer vibe with the persons you once vibed with most, laughed your heart out with, felt safe with, and cared for.

Once we start accepting this truth, letting it in, embracing it, and letting go, everything will start easing up, your chest will feel as light as a butterfly, and relationships will be more peaceful, mature, and safe.

Probably one of the hardest lessons we’ll have to bear is that it’s never about the person, it’s about the message, the message for which they have been put in your way. As said Charles Bukowski in a piece of poetry:

All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you’ll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine.

The takeaway

Whether what you want to do is material or spiritual, whether it’s about making glory or peace of mind or as simple as being happy, as long as you understand, accept, and embrace the truth about outgrowing places, people, and situations, you’ll start manifesting your growth and acquiring peace of mind and spirit.
