I’m not a believer in New Year’s resolutions. If we’re being honest, people rarely keep them. It’s just something, “for the ‘gram,” or some other social media outlet.

Is it because people clog up the gyms for the first month or two? Maybe it’s because people annoyingly have to ask what yours is. It could be because the phrase, “new year new me,” gives me a headache.

Whatever the reason, New Year’s resolutions don’t do it for me. To be fair, I am all about personal growth. But New Year’s resolutions put too much pressure on people.

Personally, I’ve been focusing on regrets. Looking back on them may help prevent similar ones. At least in a perfect world.

2021: A Year of Regrets — AKA 2020 Pt. II

New Order has a song about regrets and how sometimes there are none. Unfortunately for me, I have many regrets. Regrets are a big part of life.

They haunt and consume us. Along with relationships, they also shape and define us. Although, dwelling on every regret is a recipe for disaster.
