When you look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see? How do you feel? Bright, and filled with love and joy? Or depleted, unearthed, and perhaps even unhinged?
We get into rhythmic sequences of life because we are creatures of habit. We like habits because they are easy. We go on autopilot and don’t have to think much. We just do.
Life gets harder before it gets easier. But you have to make the choice of discipline. It’s constant. It’s exhausting. It’s difficult. It’s impossible at times. But it’s worth it.
Wretched are those who carry poor habits like late-day caffeine-induced insomnia and too much blue light, keeping a tv with news on upon waking, drowning in social media the second you open your eyes, and retaining the phone at the bedside for “just in case.”
Wretched are those who deplete their body’s soul, life force, and spirit before even brushing their teeth in the morning with a lack of sunshine, water, and fresh air, and a nutritionally deficient breakfast, if anything at all. With no energy for movement, just clogging through…
