Dr. Julian Thayer from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) has done extensive work in understanding the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is the main component of the parasympathetic system, the side of the central nervous system responsible for “rest and digest” (Breit et al., 2018).

The Orange Journal is a publication devoted to helping one another grow into the best version of ourselves. From productivity hacks to love stories, we want to know the best way to make this life as beautiful as it can be.
