Our society doesn’t always get it right. We support unrealistic body images, and it makes people doubt themselves. Photo enhancements, social media, and cosmetic procedures have blurred the definition of beauty. Now, beauty is increasingly less natural, and more by design.

But what is beauty? It sounds corny, but there is always beauty in everyone. Not everyone needs to see it, but the right people always will. So, what is beauty? It’s as subjective as anything in life. Even so, society tells us what it is, or should be.

There is nothing more soul-crushing than hearing someone you admire doubt themselves. No one should be unhappy with who they see in the mirror. That only happens because we let it happen. Often unintentionally, we still let it happen.

The hype is real

We all have friends who we simply adore. They are driven, funny, and overall amazing. I am a fan of hyping up my friends and people in general. I love making them feel their worth. So many people just don’t understand how special they truly are.

Life changes us often, and not always for the better. Society has a way of making us doubt ourselves. Life, society, and false illusions cause us…
