Devoted to Learning and Lifting Up Others, Valentina Herrero becomes The Org’s new Research Manager, Data QA

“I feel proud of myself. It’s interesting because it felt great and then a few seconds after I was promoted, I was like ‘what’s next?’ in terms of new challenges, new ways I can contribute to the company, the culture, and the team.”

One thing that stands out about Valentina is how she raises the bar for people around her. Having been at The Org for nearly 2 years, she’s played an integral part in our product development and brings her passion to the company. “I’ve changed the way we look at contributions, from just reviewing what people do to understanding our users to gathering insights and sharing them with the larger company.”

She posts Videos of the Week in our company Slack showcasing use cases and key takeaways to teammates who don’t get the kind of exposure to the product experience that she regularly has.

Valentina describes her biggest accomplishment to be all the relationships she’s fostered here. “It’s one of my favorite things. I have something to learn from every single person at the company. People are so much more than their title, they have so much more to bring to the table.”

Already thinking about what’s next, Valentina has her sights on eventually leading a team. “I’d love to have my own team. I have grown so much professionally within the past 2 years, I’d love to give the opportunity for other people to grow on my team and have new opportunities while achieving their goals.”

Lastly, her favorite thing about being a part of The Org is how much fun we have as a company. Something that is unique to our culture is the strength of interpersonal relationships in each office. We invest into the experience and count on people like Valentina bringing her passion to the group. It’s what makes this community what it is today and it wouldn’t be the same without her.
