Team announcement

I was sold by the team being curious and having a depth of knowledge on technical areas. Something that inspired me in the first interview with Andreas was how intellectually curious he is about the field I’m studying. He made it clear that the tempo here is high. You can’t dwell on things for too long.”

Eager to learn and ready to code, Rasmus joins The Org as our new Software Engineer. Prior to his journey here, he mainly worked with financial news. He used to help automate the retrieval of news and generation of headlines. “ Instead of humans reading press releases we applied algorithms to extract the most important bits of information. In the financial world every millisecond counts so it was mostly about building fast systems. Besides that I also built web applications for customers to interact with the financial headlines.”

When Rasmus isn’t wired in building software, you can find him on YouTube watching carpenters build furniture. “ It’s a soothing thing to do. I would love to build something myself but it’s very hard to do in a small apartment.”

Rasmus grew up in Randers but now lives in Copenhagen and brings his passion for architecture to the city. “ Denmark is a hub for design. I like biking around looking at different stores or biking to a summer house. It’s how I like to relax.”

Rasmus, we’re excited to have you on the team! 🙌
