Meet Jacob, The Org’s new Technology Lead, Frontend.

We’re excited to welcome Jacob to our Frontend team in Copenhagen. As Technology Lead, Frontend Jacob will report to Co-founder and CTO Andreas. Before joining The Org full time, Jacob was hired as a consultant to assist the team on a few frontend related projects. This was when we knew: We had to convince him to join us.

One of the things that excites Jacob most about joining The Org is the opportunity to apply his many years of experience to a new and different setup. He tells us he gets his energy from helping the team make the right decisions and seeing team members absorb learning and eventually navigate challenges more smoothly. We asked Jacob to tell us his short term goals for his new role: “I want to see the site performance go up and make sure that we reach optimal conditions.”

When not busy writing code and passing on his own learnings you can find Jacob chasing wind — not waves — along the coastlines of Denmark. We’ve learned that this guy is an avid windsurfer with a big passion for nature and its raw elements in general. The next level he’s hoping the unlock within his sport is foil windsurfing.
