Today we’re launching The Org Fellowship — 10 high potential individuals from around the world representing The Org in their home country. Application deadline June 12th. Apply here.

We are excited to announce that we are recruiting new Fellows at The Org.

The Org is a professional community where you can explore any company’s organizational chart. Founded in November 2017, The Org has offices in New York City and Copenhagen. We’re backed by some of the world’s leading investors including Founders Fund, Sequoia, and Balderton.

We’re a community of over 50,000 companies. 182,000 professionals and their teams are represented on The Org. But we’ve only scratched the surface. There are 195 countries and millions of companies.

Today we’re launching The Org Fellowship to expand our presence beyond the U.S. and Denmark. The Org will become the gathering place for a global business community and its teams.

We believe a company’s greatest asset is its people. This includes the folks that are never highlighted on the company website, never lauded in the press, and never showcased to the outside world on professional networking sites.

These great teams exist in all parts of the world — in places like San Francisco, London, and Tel Aviv. Stockholm hosts more billion-dollar companies per capita than anywhere else in the world. Bangalore alone accounts for over half of India’s startup activity (there are 1.3 billion people in India). Over ten thousand tech companies have launched in Moscow in the past decade.

There are makers and incredible teams in every corner of the world. And we want to help show them off.

“No matter how brilliant your mind or strategy, if you’re playing a solo game, you’ll always lose out to a team.” — Reid Hoffman

The Org Fellowship

We’re inviting 10 of the highest potential individuals to join us as regional Fellows and represent The Org in their home country.

The Fellowship program is an exclusive group of the most entrepreneurial and connected individuals from all corners of the globe. We’re on a mission to discover, partner with, and publicize the very best companies and teams from our local regions.

As an Org Fellow, you will be responsible for fostering a transparent and open business community in your country using The Org as your home base. This includes writing and publishing unique content about teams and leading companies, as well as community building and working with local partners and entrepreneurs.

We are looking for Fellows across the globe who are as passionate about our mission as we are and share our enthusiasm for innovation and cool businesses. More than any particular background, we look for people who are intellectually curious, thrive off of new ideas, and have strong communication skills. We are hoping for Fellows from a myriad of diverse backgrounds and professions.

Fellows receive:

  • A platform of hundreds of thousands of readers for your work. Plus content editing and mentorship from our editorial team.
  • Membership to The Org Fellows program and access to The Org core team and Fellowship community.
  • Events with The Org leadership and investors like Sequoia and Founders Fund.
  • Regular 1:1 introductions to others within the Fellowship cohort and broader Org community.
  • The title of Org Fellow and lifetime support of this growing community of world class doers.
  • Monthly stipend.

Why are we launching this?

We’re on a mission to make organizations more transparent. We believe that transparency will lead to a world that is more efficient, more diverse, and more egalitarian.

The Org Fellowship is the perfect compliment to a career as an investor, entrepreneur, or journalist. Your aim will be to know everyone doing something important, help them, and write about them. You’ll also build a personal brand as a global leader of the next great business trend: transparency.

“When people ask me how to break into the startup world, I tell them to get in a room and start talking and doing all they can to be helpful.” — Chris Sacca

We only have a few rules

  1. Give before you get. Think about how you can give value to others without expecting anything in return.
  2. Hustle. You’ll pick up the phone or get that warm introduction. You make it happen whatever it takes.
  3. Users come first. You are The Org’s eyes and ears in your region. Help us create a world class experience for them.

Necessary Details

  • This is a paid part-time position. With fluctuations based on local currency, we pay ~$1,000 USD / month.
  • We have high expectations and measure results with numbers. Your goals are to write often and build high quality relationships with companies. You’ll have a manager and report on metrics.
