This time, our monthly update is all about the broader ecosystem in which OS.University operates. You will get to know what the future holds for blockchain in education and which are the top blockchain startups in Sofia — apart from us, that is :)

But first, have a look at the story about our journey in the Baltics. “TechChill 2019” was the final destination of our participation in the “Startup Lighthouse” — a unique pan-EU initiative to support 20 of the most promising (and most photogenic, as seen from the picture above) European scale-ups in their internationalization efforts.

It was a honor for OS.University to be part of this exclusive cohort of entrepreneurs!

On Focus: The EdTech Blockchain Industry

The applications outlined above could enable what HolonIQ refers to as the peer-to-peer learning ecosystem of the next decade. As you can see from the market map, OS.University DApp is highlighted among the pioneers in the field of verification of skills and experiences!

This “Forbes” article explains what other changes, apart from the technology itself, are needed so that blockchain innovation can realize its disruptive potential in education.

The Hottest Blockchain Startups

There are around 30 companies in Bulgaria, which leverage blockchain technology in an attempt to develop viable products that serve real business needs. This Austrian tech magazine positions OS.University among the hottest of them!

Make sure to have a look at the rest of the innovators, presented within the article — they all have what to offer when it comes to bringing change within their respective industries!

The Bulgarian Silicon Valley

Referial.com hand-picked the most prominent IT companies, operating in AI, IoT, Fintech and Custom Development from Sofia — one of the new “Silicon Valleys” of Europe.

OS.University is listed by Referial as one of the top 8 tech companies, operating in the edtech industry in Bulgaria — what an exciting list to be part of!

In the Media

Graduating the Founder Institute a few weeks back (there’s a nice photo from the ceremony below) means more international publicity ahead! Here’s an extensive business review on OS.University, published by the prestigious “Irish Tech News” — we speak about our project, but also about its broader educational and technology links to the surrounding ecosystem.

Our creative technologist Momchil represented us at the accelerator — a job well done!
