Last week OS University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the GIVE Foundation to set the terms of the future partnership between the two organizations in order to achieve easier and more successful the common goals in the fields of education, youth empowerment, social solidarity and financial literacy.

GIVE is a blockchain-powered ecosystem that is empowering kids at school to experience the benefits of giving while gaining financial literacy for a lifetime of financial well-being.

OS.UNIVERSITY is the world’s academic & career development ledger, empowering learners to connect to world’s top academic education and professional development opportunities on the blockchain and receive the recognition they deserve for their accomplishments.

This collaboration between the Swiss-based foundation that is behind the “GIVE” token and world’s first university-backed token — the “EDU”, strives to support GIVE and OS.UNIVERSITY in reaching the goals more effectively and efficiently by interacting together in the fields of common interest. The above stated goals will be accomplished by undertaking the following joint actions:

  • Raising mutual awareness among the key stakeholders’ groups in regards to the value proposition behind both blockchain-based platforms.
  • Extending the eco-systems and the use-cases for the EDU and the GIVE tokens as vehicles for social change, through joint programs, campaigns, product offerings, etc.
  • Creating access to high-quality learning and development opportunities for young people throughout the world in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, set by the U.N.
