The Legend of Akkoro

Unlike the Kraken or Cecaelia or Kanaloa, Akkoro is a gentle giant. Like Oswald, benevolent, full of wisdom, and has healing magic for disfigurements or broken bones.

Akkoro doesn’t attack humans unless they harm him, of course, or demand to be blessed by him.

Give him a platter of seafood and he will be forever in your debt.

If you’re a friendly, frequent visitor and sit to have a moment to yourself on the shoreline, a large tentacle will pat your head.
