On November 6, 2018, millions of Americans cast their ballots in the Midterm elections in a response to Trump’s presidency. While the Democrats’ high voter turnout propelled them to a gain of over 30 seats in the House, a heavily unfavorable electoral map led them to lose ground in the Senate.
