Have you heard of “Keto” but you’re not really sure what it’s about? Or maybe you already love the ketogenic diet but you could use a couple more ideas and resources?

This week we’re featuring The Keto Diet Bundle organized by Louise and Jeremy Hendon. It’s basically a giant collection of Keto resources, meal plans and cookbooks offered at an extremely low price for a few short days.

In this interview we learn a little more about the differences between keto and paleo, what a normal day in the life of the keto diet looks like, and the 3 (okay 4) items in this bundle that we’re most excited about!

1. You’re launching the Keto Diet Bundle this week, from February 7th to February 11th. I’m pretty familiar with Paleo, but can you tell me, what is Keto, and how is it different from Paleo? Why would someone be interested in adopting a Keto diet?

On a Paleo diet, the main focus is on food quality and ancestral foods — trying to eliminate inflammatory foods and increase nutrient-dense foods.

A ketogenic diet (also known as a Keto diet), focuses more on boosting your body’s ketone levels up so that you’re in “nutritional ketosis.” In this state, you can get a lot of great benefits like weight loss, less hunger, and mental clarity.

A lot of people also experience other health benefits (like migraines disappearing, acne clearing up, digestive issues going away). And there’s research into therapeutic benefits of a ketogenic diet (like preventing and treating cancer and neurological conditions).

We actually promote a keto diet that also emphasizes food quality. Many of the authors and bloggers who are into keto emphasize the same.

There are many reasons why someone might start keto. Most people do it for the weight loss and mental clarity, but you might also try it to control your blood sugar or break a sugar addiction. Feeling and looking amazing is pretty motivating!

2. So you’ve written The Essential Keto Cookbook and you’re co-founder of Paleo Flourish Magazine, so you’re a total professional at this. For those of us who are new to the Keto diet, can you tell us what it’s like eating Keto? Are you always in Ketosis? What kind of food do you eat every day? What do you stay away from?

Eating a Keto diet is not that different from eating Paleo. We stick to eating real foods — no gluten or grains, no dairy (except for some ghee), no beans, no soy, no processed sugars, etc. But we also cut out the starchy vegetables and fruits (like bananas and sweet potatoes) and we make sure we’re eating plenty of healthy fats and meats/fish.

My friend, Chris Kelly from Nourish Balance Thrive, calls Keto a tool in your health toolbox. And this is a great way to think about it. I’ll go on Keto for a while if I’m looking to lose a few extra pounds or if I’m looking for extra mental energy (e.g., I’m working on a big project and need a lot of focus). But the rest of the time, I still eat a pretty Paleo diet.

Generally, I eat a lot of vegetables with a fair amount of fish and meats.

So, for breakfast today, I had some greens powder with a scoop of the Peaches and Cream Perfect Keto Ketone Supplements and ½ teaspoon of MCT oil. Then I had a black coffee while I worked.

For lunch, I picked up some organic salad leaves, topped it with some avocado and smoked salmon, drizzled some extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice and sprinkled some crushed pink peppercorns over it. It took me literally 5 minutes to put together two plates of it.

And for dinner, we’re going to make a pork, ginger, and cabbage stew (it’s cheap, easy, and nutritious).

3. And what’s a bundle sale? How does it work?

A bundle sale is where we sell a collection of products (as a bundle) from different contributors for a huge discount, for just a few days. In other words, you can buy 40+ products (plus a bunch of bonuses) for a 96% discount.

It’s a great opportunity for many of the contributors to be exposed to a large audience and an amazing opportunity for purchasers to save tons of money.

4. This bundle sale has incredible value! Can you walk us through what kinds of things are included in the Keto Diet Bundle? Why do I need it?

Obviously you save a lot of money with the 2017 Keto Diet Bundle, but you also save a ton of time and energy figuring out which keto experts you enjoy reading, which recipe creators you enjoy recipes from, and which keto-friendly companies you like buying from.

We’ve put a ton of keto resources in one place so you don’t have to go scouring the internet, wasting time and money.

The 2017 Keto Diet Bundle has over 40 ebooks, ecourses, videos and over 20 discounts and bonuses.

We counted over 1300 recipes and 20 weeks of meal plans in the bundle! So you don’t have to worry about what to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, parties, or desserts.

And if you’re new to a ketogenic diet, there’s a whole category of ebooks in the Getting Started With Keto section to help you out.

There are ebooks and ecourses focused on weight loss, fitness, and even other aspects of your lifestyle like sleep, skincare, and more. Plus, the bonuses include some free products and a lot of discounts to awesome companies.

5. What are the top 3 products that you are MOST excited about in this bundle?

1. Martina Slajerova’s KetoDiet Guide and Meal Plan

These are really comprehensive and super helpful for anyone interested in Keto. They’re usually sold for $29.95.

2. Leanne Vogel’s The Keto Beginning — Complete Guide & 30-Day Meal Plan

I think the name of the book says it all — it’s perfect for anyone looking to start Keto. And its regular price is $25.

3. 1-month free subscription to Calm’s meditations

We wanted to create a complete keto bundle, and obviously what you eat isn’t everything you do in life. One of the hardest things to combat is stress, and that’s why I’m so glad you’ll get to try Calm for a whole month for free when you get the bundle. That’s another $12.99 savings.

4. MASHUP 45-Day Challenge Videos

Sorry, I couldn’t keep it to just 3 products because getting enough exercise is often a struggle for people. So, these videos (worth $45 plus their 45-day challenge) are excellent.

The combined value for just these 4 items is $112.94, so you’ll save $75.94 even if you wanted just these 4 items alone!

6. Give us all the details on this bundle: When does it run? How much is it? How do I get it? After I purchase it, how will I get all of my new books and meal plans?

The 2017 Keto Diet Bundle will only be available for 5 days (this is to be fair to all the amazing contributors). The dates are Feb 7–11. The doors will shut promptly at 11.59pm EST on Saturday Feb 11th.

The entire bundle will only cost $37 — so you’ll save hundreds of dollars!

Click here to learn more and/or buy the bundle before it expires.

As soon as you purchase it, you’ll get sent a login to the membership site. Once you log in, you’ll be able to download all the products as one zip file or as individual files. You can also stream the videos there or download them. You’ll have access to this membership site for at least a year so if you lose any of the ebooks, you can always go back to re-download them.

Note by Todd Dosenberry: If you purchase the bundle, I’ll earn a commission. You’ll be supporting the authors of the resources in the bundle, Louise and Jeremy Hendon, me and my team as well as yourself if you have interest in Keto.
