Because this is the Panopticon, there’s got to be a spread of views and, the recent article by Nikos Papakonstantinou in which he tagged both myself and Ben Sledge in lays out his arguments on the Middle East very well. His position is that Israel is currently interfering with the US election, that Netanyahu is a war criminal and Israel is a genocidal terror state hell-bent on the obliteration of Palestinians.

NP doesn’t mince his words — and I like that. I approve. He does, however, omit some key geopolitical analytical rigour, which I’m not so keen on. Namely, he fails to identify some of the most significant threats to Western Democracy, those coming from Russia, Iran and China and their ability to manipulate the populace of Western Democracies.
