Statement by the Board of Directors at The Paradigm Switch

In Times of Uncertainty, We Stick to our Values

At The Paradigm Switch, we are men, women, and queer; we include all races, cultures, religions, socioeconomic backgrounds, and gender identities. During painful times such as this, it is important to remember that change starts with us. We do not advocate for status quo solutions. We are committed to unapologetically building long-lasting careers that we can take anywhere in the world while upholding our values as a company. We value honest conversations and authenticity even when doing so is painful. Vulnerability is the catalyst for personal and professional growth.

As our country confronts its history of systemic disparity, and we exercise our right to protest, we remember why our organization was built digitally with open accessibility to military spouses around the world.

We know these injustices exist and we have been building to combat it since day one. We are proud that our resources and community equal the playing field. TPS was designed to help the underserved and underrepresented military spouses in our community by empowering them to chart their own personal and professional priorities and goals. If you feel the need to take action and chart your own path towards change, then we encourage you to start Switch today.

One of our core values at TPS is Courage which states, “We are brave enough to do courageous things, even when it’s hard. Bravery shows up at all levels — from the individual, to the team, and to the organization, both internally and externally. For example, once we have identified our authentic selves we act courageously in the direction for change. We make difficult decisions that spur growth, and push back against outdated societal norms.”

In accordance with our values and belief system, we oppose racism in all forms and the inequality that persists from deep-seated roots in our country. We ask our community to be brave enough to show up, listen, and ask questions that make us uncomfortable. We choose to lead in all areas of our lives with love and compassion instead of hate and anger. Please join us.

Leading with love does not mean suppressing anger. It means digging deep and finding the courage to channel raw emotions around years of injustice and working together toward solutions so our collective voice can be heard.

Our logo is the delta sign which means, “open and willing to change.” We ask you to remain open and willing to change so that all Americans experience justice and lasting peace.

Signed,

Justine Evirs, President of the Board & Founder

Dan Kanivas, Board Treasurer

Nikole Schmidt, Board Secretary
