Donald Trump’s plans for the Gaza Strip are nothing short of audacious. The former US President, who’s well-known for his controversial foreign policies, has now set his sights on annexing the Palestinian territory and transforming it into the “Riviera” of the Middle East.
In an interview with the popular pro-Israel website “My Right to an Occupation,” Trump explained his vision for the Gaza Strip. He envisions luxurious high-end resorts, casinos, and golf courses that would put even his signature properties in the shade. “I want to make Gaza great again,” he said, leaning back in his chair and adjusting his golden tie. “We’re talking about a world-class destination here. Think of it as the Middle Eastern version of Las Vegas or Dubai.”
Of course, a few obstacles are standing in the way of Trump’s grand plans. The first and most obvious is that Israel currently controls the Gaza Strip, not the US. However, he brushed aside these concerns in typical Trump fashion with characteristic nonchalance. “If Israel doesn’t want to play ball, we’ll find another partner in the region who does,” he said, eyes twinkling.
