Cicada City is the first book in a series that follows the fun and fact filled adventures of the Bug Club. Hyacinth, Jaylen and Sakura are about to learn about periodical cicadas as they collect the shells they find and build them a sprawling imaginary city to live in!
The kids get so into their cicadas, their social media accounts go viral and they are able to raise money to create a new exhibit at their local nature center.
Kids should be living their best lives!
This is the story of how I would be living life now as a kid if I had it all to do over again. I always loved collecting cicada shells as a kid in Ohio.
Could anything be cooler than an abandoned bug outfit? Not to mention you can use it to play pranks, create small villages, make stop motion videos, etc…
