Hello, darkness my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
I’d love to tell you I’m the good guy
but, the truth is I’m the villain
I’m the one that burns this town
down to the ground
I’m the one that walks through the roaring inferno
as I watch the destruction continue to unfold
I’m the enemy
so alert the authorities
let them know I’m the one
the prodigal son
back to destroy what he built
because some men love to watch the world burn.
