Can we talk about weird things people do on the internet?
This is humor, just to warn you. Because I live in Canada and it’s minus thirty three here today. If you’re American, that’s minus twenty seven and when it’s that cold, you have to find something or someone to laugh at.

I’m going to tell you a story. Don’t worry, it’s short. Like me.
A long time ago, I went to an A.A. support group with my neighbor. Her husband was an alcoholic, so she’d go to family support meetings to learn to be supportive of his twelve step program. So she asked me to go along and because I’m the best friend ever, I said sure, okay, I’ll go with you.
Wow. That meeting.
So. Here’s a thing that happens, in case you’ve never been to one. People stand up and share the most personal and embarrassing stories you’ve ever heard. With strangers. And before they start, everyone is told no judging.
One woman stood up and said “group” has been so helpful and she just appreciates the support so much. That’s what she called it. Group.
She said before “group” she used to pour her husband’s booze down the sink while screaming and yelling that if he really loved her and their kid he’d JUST STOP…
