Generation X, born from 1965 through 1980, is the least-parented generation. Our parents divorced in record numbers in an inflationary time like today.

“Our generation is considered the least parented generation, it’s true: look it up on Wikipedia,” Christina Pazsitzky explains in her first Netflix comedy special. “We dealt with crazy stuff like crack cocaine, and AIDS, and Friends.”

Hey Millennial: Have you ever heard of the Latchkey Kids?

“We were Latchkey Kids: You know what that is, Millenial?” Pazsitzky asks. “Is that a band? No, it’s not a band. You had a key to your own house. School would let out, and rather than arrange for proper childcare — you would let yourself into your own home — and then.”

Pazsitzky then stops, grins, and shrugs, “I don’t know. You could be alive by the time your mom got home.”
